Rani, a multilingual lawyer, has a diverse educational and cultural background. He obtained his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Thompson Rivers University, and he established his law firm, Byblos Law Corporation, in 2024.

Rani brings a combination of business consulting and legal experience to his practice. He began his consulting career at Ernst & Young and later founded the BC Family Business Center, which provides consulting services to small family businesses in Metro Vancouver. His legal practice includes business law, family law, and wills and estates. Rani regularly prepares Marriage and Cohabitation Agreements and Separation Agreements and provides independent legal advice to clients reviewing these agreements. He also prepares Wills, Powers of Attorney, Representation Agreements, and Advance Directives.

Rani enjoys collecting fossils, hunting, and listening to French classical music during his free time.
