Our articling clinicians are available remotely and locally in 16 BC communities to assist lawyers' practices with affordable research, litigation and legal aid services.
They are highly trained in a wide range of service areas involving “everyday legal problems”, including family, employment, tenancy, criminal, consumer, wills and estates, corporate, human rights, and mental health law. They come equipped with legal research tools provided by Canadian Bar Association - BC Branch and the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC.
We offer the following types of fixed term work arrangements:
- legal research and writing supervised by Clinic lawyers (from $75/hour)
- legal research and writing not supervised by Clinic lawyers (from $50/hour)
- criminal or family legal aid tariff work (from $40/hour)
- term secondment (from $40/hour)
